Fight disease with food–is the aim of the PCRM seminar series that will bring leading international plant-based doctors together to equip participants with practical guidance to transform their lifestyles.   

Physicians Committee Of Responsible Medicine (PCRM) has organized a free seminar series from Friday, 14 May to 2 July 2021, from 9-10 pm IST (11:30 am – 12:30 pm EST). The session with feature leading doctors and experts to share insights about the power of food to combat lifestyle diseases.

 Such a programme could not have been developed at a better time. Diabetes has reached to an epidemic proportion in India and leaves the patient at risk of bigger pandemic infections that target patients with such lifestyle diseases. The team of doctors believe that it is possible to improve diabetes dramatically, reduce medications, and perhaps even get off them completely. It can be as easy as what you put on your plate. The workshops will feature 8 doctor-led online classes and international speakers to share meal-place and support to participants.

 Programme Objectives

The objective of this programme is to educate people about plant-based foods and how these foods can help manage and even reverse diabetes. Experts and weekly guests will share practical tips and inspire you to eat more plant-based foods.

For eight weeks, attendees of these free weekly classes will:

  • Learn how delicious, plant-based foods can reduce the risk for type 2 diabetes.
  • Receive recipes and meal plans that can help to optimize blood pressure, weight, and blood sugar.
  • Hear from experts in India and all over the world as to how to plan meals, feed the family, and navigate successes and challenges.
  • Watch recordings of anything you missed in the series! These class recordings will be shared by email.
